Our New Floral Collection: Forget-Me-Nots

Introducing Our New Floral Collection: Forget-Me-Nots

We’re thrilled to launch our new Floral Collection, featuring beautiful pressed Alaskan Forget-Me-Nots preserved in resin on stunning stainless steel jewelry! As Alaska's state flower, the Forget-Me-Not is more than just a pretty bloom—it symbolizes love, remembrance, and a deep connection to our breathtaking natural landscape.

These charming flowers grow 5 to 12 inches high in mountain meadows, showcasing five rounded blue petals adorned with a white inner ring and a yellow center. The best time to spot these fragrant beauties is during midsummer, from late June to late July. You can also find related species like the mountain forget-me-not in high alpine areas and the splendid forget-me-not near the tree line.

The Forget-Me-Not holds a special place in Alaska's history as well. During the push for statehood in 1926, Governor George Parks inspired a design contest for the Alaska flag. The winning design, crafted by 13-year-old Benny Benson, featured the Forget-Me-Not, symbolizing the blue skies and hope for Alaska’s future. In 1959, the flower was officially adopted as the state flower and floral emblem.

Our Floral Collection celebrates this beloved symbol with handcrafted jewelry that connects you to Alaska's rich heritage and natural beauty. And this is just the beginning! We have more wonderful floral styles in the works, so stay tuned for new designs that highlight the vibrant flora of Alaska. Explore our Floral Collection today and carry a piece of Alaska with you! 🌸✨
